Trust Him With All Your Heart: Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Psalm 28:7

What does it mean to trust the Lord with all your heart? It means that you completely trust the Most High with everything in you, that you rely not on anything you can do on your own, and give all of the strength you possess, both physically and mentally, to the will of the Most High.

Isaiah refers to the Lord as providing power to His people. He writes in Isaiah 40:28–31 that the Lord does not faint or grow weary. He empowers the faint and gives strength to those who have none. Those who wait on the Lord will receive new strength. They will soar like eagles, run without tiring, and walk without fainting.

Let this verse be a reminder to trust Him with all your heart.
